Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5

The fourth episode of Game of Thrones Season 7 has been leaked online, following a large-scale hacking incident at HBO. You can watch the episode right now with just a few (illegal) mouse clicks. Here are the details.

On Friday, posts began emerging on social media from people who claimed to have already watched The Spoils of War, better known as the yet-unaired fourth episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 7. The spoiler-laden tweets were the surest indication that what HBO had feared was true: an advance, albeit low-quality, version of the highly anticipated fourth episode had leaked online and was circulating in advance of its Sunday air date.

Yesterday, Reddit users began sharing a Google Drive page containing the leaked episode, which Gizmodo has confirmed as authentic. The video is watermarked with Star TV India and in low-quality standard definition. The watermark suggests that the leak is not actually related to HBO’s recent hacking scandal. (Thus is backed up by a report on Hollywood Reporter.

The episode in question, “The Spoils of War,” first appeared on Reddit early Friday morning, where it was reportedly shared via a Google Drive link that has since been taken down. The leak originated from Indian distributor Star India, a subsidiary of 21st Century Fox, which has since confirmed the authenticity of the pirated copy.

Another pointed out that anyone who watched “The Spoils of War” early would now have to wait even longer for the fifth episode, and attached an image that announced “Congratulations, you played yourself.”

The leak comes just days after HBO itself suffered a data breach, which included a detailed synopsis of the Episode 4 script. (Friday’s leak is entirely unrelated.) The premium cabler has not yet released an official summary of the episode — though photos from the hour can be viewed here.

Meanwhile, Cersei and khaleesi consult their trusted advisors, Brienne and Pod look wary (but that’s pretty standard) and Jaime and Bronn ride… and you just know Lady Olenna’s kickass last words are still ringing in the Kingslayer’s ears, right?

While many “Game of Thrones” fans seemed thrilled to have been able to watch the rabidly-awaited episode in advance, HBO executives and their partners vowed to crack down.
